Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyasi has signed for CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria from Norwegian side Aalesund.
The 26-year old had declared his intentions to leave Norway with Brighton & Hove Albion and Norwich reportedly showing interest but they both failed as CSKA won the race.
The Bulgarian side completed all formalities relating to his signing on Wednesday night before announcing on Thursday.
It is, however, unknown how many years Gyasi has agreed to with the club but the Ghana international is raring to go.

"I cannot wait to start training with the team. I am glad to be part of the biggest Bulgarian club, of which world-renowned players such as Stoichkov and Berbatov have played for the big football.
The ambition for trophies and big matches in Europe has brought me to CSKA. Roland Albergen for telling me about the fantastic crowd and good atmosphere at the club," Gyasi told CSKA official website.
Born in Netherlands to Ghanaian parents, Gyasi began his football career at Amsterdamsche FC. He moved to AZ Alkmaar where he was elevated to senior team but made no appearance.
It was at De Graafschap in the Dutch second-tier that he made his senior debut. Gyasi subsequently played for FC Twente Heracles and Roda JC.
In the summer of 2016, Gyasi joined Aalesund on a two-year deal. He made 53 appearances scoring 12 goals for the Orange and Blue.
Edwin Gyasi has been capped twice by Black Stars and has a goal. His goal came in the 1-1 draw with Egypt last year.
