Former Ghana Football Association spokesperson Randy Abbey has described as ''unfortunate'' the rift between his former boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and Ghana League Clubs Association boss Kudjoe Fianoo.
Nyantakyi and Fianoo are not on good terms. This is after the FA boss referred to Fianoo as a ''small mind'' over allegations that ''he and his vice travel more than pilots''.

Abbey, who was a guest on Saturday's edition of Joy Sports Link, has entreated the two to cease fire.
“I think that kind of thing deepens the cracks in the football association and I think that Mr Fianoo despite being upset about the state of affairs in our football perhaps could have to use a better adjective to make his point than saying that the GFA President travels more than a pilot,'' Abbey said.
''However, I also think in responding to Mr Fianoo, Nyantakyi went overboard and the use of words such as small minds and all that was unnecessary. Even I find Nyantakyi’s post a bit contradictory because he claims small minds discuss people and yet in the final paragraph of his Facebook which I read he ends up talking about Fianoo”.
The majority shareholder of second-tier side Heart of Lions also defended his calls for a change of leadership in Ghana Football. According to him, the time is right for Nyantakyi to step down after a 13-year reign.
''The fact that some years back I said calls for Nyantakyi to step down is not feasible and today I think that the results suggest we need a new direction so I shouldn't say that? I can’t get the logic.'' Randy said.
