Rising Ghanaian hiphop artist M.anifest will be rocking the Big Brother Africa StarGame eviction show on Sunday.
The charismatic hiphop artist will be joining the likes of other Ghanaian artistes including Ruff N Smooth, VIP, Kwaku T and Mimi who have performed on the Big Brother stage.
M.anifest has been described by many as an artist with an incredible talent who, according to City Pages newspaper, possess "the kind of assured, joyful, ruminative voice that made Mos Def into Hollywood's favorite conscious-rap star."
Born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, he started music commercially in 2005 after his university education at Macalester College where he graduated with a BA in Economics.
After such a short stint, the Ghanaian can boast of stage collaborations with some of music's greats such as Femi Kuti, Damon Albarn (Gorillaz), Amadou and Miriam, Mick Jones (The clash), Tony Allen, and the Noisettes.
The grand son of the legendary Prof Emeratus J.H. Nketia, one of the most revered Ghanaian and African composers, M.anifest's music was also featured on the official Nike and Fader Magazine 2010 World Cup Podcast.
