Ghana’s Jordan Ayew is in the hunt for Swansea’s best player of the season in the Swansea City Supporters’ Player of the Season competition.
The Ghanaian has been instrumental in the Swans drive to avoid relegation having scored 11 goals which make him the top scorer for the premier league side.
He was so instrumental, coach Carlos Carvalhal could not help but heap praises on him after putting up one of his scintillating performances.
“It was a great goal from Jordan and he deserves it. He is a fighter and works very hard for the team,” Carlo Carvalhal said of the Ghanaian.
The gifted Black Stars striker, however, has four other players- Alfiew Mawson, Federico Fernandez, Ki-Sung-yueng and Lukasz Fabianski- to contend with for the same award.
In a competition, the winner of which is determined through votes, the Ghanaian striker will need a lot of votes from his loyal fans. Voting ends on Thursday.
