A man believed to be in his 30s has committed suicide by hanging himself on a mango tree near the T.I. Ahmadiyya Cluster of Schools in the Wa Municipality in the Upper West region.
The body of the man who has only been identified as Dagadaw has been deposited at the Wa Regional Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
The deceased is suspected to have parked his bicycle nearby before committing the act.
Police personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) who removed the body of the deceased stated that they suspect no foul play over the incident.
The incident which happened early Wednesday morning has created a state of panic among teachers and pupils of T.I.Ahmadiyya Cluster of Schools.
