CEIBS Africa has launched the Owner Director Programme for business leaders in fast growing and successful enterprises who want to take their companies to the next level of growth and sustainability.
The programme is designed to help owners and directors of fast growing enterprises rethink the key business leadership and management challenges they are facing, set up modern and agile management systems, and lay a solid foundation for scaling their business growth in a dynamic business landscape. It will challenge business owners to get the best out of themselves, help them gain confidence, feel re-invigorated and be ready to improve the performance of their businesses.
The programme also helps owners and directors of businesses to unlock answers to challenging questions such as: should you diversify your product portfolio, by how much and for how long? How should you position your business? How should you market your products or services in a digital world to get the best results? How should you finance growth and expansion? How can you grow your business into a micro-multinational? How can you scale your business within and across borders especially given the complexity of your home market? What are the strategies to reverse the vicious cycle of near stagnation and reducing revenues?
The premier cohort of the CEIBS Africa Owner Director Programme (ODP) has completed the first module of the programme; the Entrepreneurship Financial Strategy module, in Accra.
Carl Aniambossou Arnaud, CEO of Porto-Novo based Sud Telecom, described his experience after the first module of the CEIBS ODP as mind-blowing and timely. “I have received so much knowledge from this module. There were some things I thought I knew, but having gone through this session I realise that there is a lot I need to do to take my business to the next level. I have gained a lot and I know this is going to impact my business in a positive way,” he said.

The content and curriculum of the CEIBS Owner Director Programme are organized as an integrated, immersive learning process that enables participants to engage systematically with complex strategic issues through the following 4 modules delivered across 3 cities; Accra, Lagos and Shanghai:
Module 1: Entrepreneurship Financial Strategy (Accra, Ghana)
Module 2: Strategic Marketing for Entrepreneurs in a Digital World (Lagos, Nigeria)
Module 3: Strategic Management, Innovation, Growth & Scale for Entrepreneurs (Accra, Ghana)
Module 4: Personal/Professional Development & Family and Succession Planning and Strategy, Graduation (Shanghai, China)
Ideal candidates for this practice-oriented programme are CEOs, Managing Directors, Chairmen, Presidents and Executive Directors of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) based in Africa.
