The Chief Executive of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Prof. Otu Nartey has denied former Vice-President Alhaji Aliu Mahama is dead.
He said the former Vice-President was in critical condition at the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital and doctors are working frantically to save his life.
Reports had indicated that former Vice-President passed away Wednesday afternoon at the hospital where he has fighting for his life.
Prof. Nartey told Joy News the prospects of flying Alhaji Aliu Mahama out of the country for treatment are being considered.
