Mr. Paul Boateng, the Chief Executive of Pure Creations, organizers of Ghana Peaceflag Tour, has congratulated President John Mahama for coming out victorious in the 2012 presidential elections.
Mr. Boateng commended the president for keeping his promise to Ghanaians to uphold the peace in the country when he endorsed the peaceflag.
In a press release, he noted that the President’s peaceful posture has reduced the tension generated from the just ended elections.
“when I met the president at the Castle in Osu, he told me that he was committed to ensuring peace before, during and after the elections, before giving me the blessings to embark on the nationwide tour to seek the autographs of one million Ghanaians as their commitment to peace,” Mr. Boateng intimated.
According to Mr. Boateng, his tour to all the ten regions where over 500,000 Ghanaians endorsed the peaceflag to serve as peace ambassadors from two months ago seem to have been productive considering the peaceful demeanour exhibited generally by Ghanaians during the election.
He thanked those who assisted the project to make it successful.
Mr. Boateng urged all the political parties and Ghanaians to maintain the peace we are enjoying.
