Reports reaching Myjoyonline.com indicate that Bishop Bob Hawkson, Founder of the Jubilee International Churches and Ministries has died. The bishop reportedly collapsed Sunday while giving a sermon.
According to the reports, the Presiding Bishop was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed but he could not make it.
Bob Hawkson was ordained a Bishop in 1977 by the Mt. Sinai Holiness Church of America and served as their Foreign Missions Director for that year.
He returned to Ghana in 1978 to establish the then Peoples Church of Ghana which was later changed to Jubilee Christian Centre currently registered and known as Jubilee International Churches and Ministries.
He was married to Shirley Hawkson and had four children.
