Police in Asamankese are worried about gruesome killings recorded in the district over the last one week.
They are therefore asking the public to collaborate with them to fight this problem.
A week ago, a Burkinabe slashed his cousin’s throat whilst sleeping with an explanation that the deceased was a witch.
And just yesterday, Monday, a 28year old woman who is reported to be mentally challenged killed her two grand nieces.
Asamankese District Police Commander, DSP Yayah Muchinaru tells Joy News the deceased bodies have been deposited at the Asamankese Government Hospital for autopsy.
Court has ordered that she should be taken a “psychiatric hospital for further examination”, he stated.
