The warehouse of the telecommunications company MTN on the Spintex Road in Accra is on fire.
Joy News’ Anny Osabutey who is present at the scene said the fire is serious.
He doubts if anything can be salvaged.
Eye witnesses suspect the fire may have been caused by a man who was burning rubbish close to the warehouse.
With the strong harmattan winds already in the air, the fire quickly spread to the warehouse said to be containing cables belonging to MTN.
Osabutey says fire men are having a difficult task putting out the fire.
He fears the fire will spread to other buildings close by.
