A total of 26,156 ballot papers were rejected in the 2,240 polling stations in the 22 constituencies in Western Region during Election 2008.
A Ghana News Agency (GNA) analysis of election results revealed that Ellembelle Constituency recorded the highest rejected ballot papers of 1,586, followed by Ahanta West Constituency 1,526, Bia Constituency 1,397 and Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency 1,145.
Juaboso Constituency recorded 903, Jomoro 894, Amenfi West 876, Evalue-Gwira 869 and Prestea Huni Valley 827.
Sekondi Constituency recorded the lowest of 202.
