Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin netted his first goal for Rayo Vallecano on Saturday afternoon in their league game against Real Sociedad.
The central defender opened the scoring in the first half of the game with a blistering strike from a rebound to hand his side the lead.
Mumin was only making a return to the starting lineup after a long while having been on the bench for the majority of the campaign.
The 25-year-old seized the opportunity to impress his manager as he got things running after 31 minutes played.

Mikel Oyarzabal then equalised for the away side four minutes away from the halftime whistle as they headed into the break levelled.
After the recess, Oyarzabal grabbed his second of the game from the penalty spot before former Manchester United forward Bebe scored to tie the game for Rayo.
Mumin played the entire duration of the game as his side picked up a point at home against La Real.
The player joined Vallecano during the 2022 summer transfer window, arriving from Vitoria Guimaraes.
