Absa Bank Ghana has marked the Christmas season with its Nine Lessons and Carols Service, held at the Palms by Eagles Hotel in Accra. The service brought together management, staff, customers, and invited guests to reflect on the values of gratitude, unity, and goodwill.
The service formed part of the bank’s end-of-year activities and provided an opportunity to thank customers for their loyalty and trust in the Absa brand throughout the year.
Speaking to Joy Business, Nana Essilfuah Tamakloe, Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Absa Bank Ghana, expressed appreciation to customers for their continued support, noting that their confidence in the bank remains central to its work.

“We celebrate today because we have prevailed over the challenges the year presented, and that is a testament to the strength of our partnerships. Without our customers, we would not have a business, and we are grateful to have come to the end of the year with their unwavering support,” she said.

She reaffirmed Absa Bank’s commitment to delivering excellent and intentional service, and assured customers that the bank would continue to design and deliver solutions with customers’ needs in mind.

The Nine Lessons and Carols Service featured scripture readings by a notable lineup of guests, including Mr Joel Nettey, Chief Executive Officer of Ninani Group; Mrs Faustina Anyemedu, Vice Chairperson of Unicof – Absa Bank Ghana LTD; Mr Danquah Addo-Yobo, Country Managing Director of Newmont Ghana; and Mr John Awuah, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Association of Banks.
The service also included carol performances by Joyful Way Incorporated and Harp Chorale, as well as prayers that reinforced messages of hope, reflection, and thanksgiving as the year draws to a close.
