Ghanaian midfielder Abu Francis has already arrived in France ahead of a summer move to Ligue 1 side Toulouse.
Abu is expected to join the French side in the coming days in a permanent deal ending his stay at Belgian side Cercle Brugge.
The Black Stars midfielder arrived in Toulouse on Sunday night ahead of a scheduled mandatory medical as part of the deal.
The midfielder was the subject of interest from several European clus including Basaksehir FK and Trabzonspor both in the Turkish league while Burnley, Torino and Genoa were also courting him.
However, Abu has opted to sign for the Ligue 1 side after speaking to the manager last week.
He joined Cercle Brugge in 2022 where he spent the last five years, featuring in over 60 league appearances with one goal and seven assists to his name.
Abu Francis came through the Right to Dream Academy before eventually signing for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.
He has also been capped five times by the national team with his debut coming in March 2024.
