Also, the suspects allegedly attacked the offices of Eden Microfinance and the Electricity Company of Ghana at Nkawie and Abuakwa respectively.
A police swoop at Kobeng near Nkawie led to the retrieval of dozen computers, electric generators, television sets, mobile phones, money counting machines and unspecified amount of cash from a private house.
A few hours later, Felix Opoku and Emmanuel Asiedu were arrested and police are still looking out for their three other accomplices.
The Abuakwa District Crime Officer, ASP Jeremiah Alale, told Nhyira News the activities of the syndicate and one other group have been a nightmare to the police in the area.
The two Junior High School drop-outs have been very co-operative with police investigations, he said.
ASP Alale urged members of the public to volunteer information leading to the arrest of the wanted criminals and further cautioned people who bought stolen items from robbers that they also risked prosecution.
