The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the immediate temporary closure of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) to carry out essential renovation works aimed at enhancing safety and long-term functionality.
In a public announcement dated 27th March 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the general public about the temporary closure of the AICC with immediate effect.
The closure is to allow for scheduled renovation works focused on ensuring the safety and longevity of the facility.

The Ministry assured that the reopening date will be communicated to the public in due course and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality public service throughout the renovation period.
