The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) is to give credit to farmers, small and medium scale business operators in the Agona and Winneba municipalities under its micro-finance expansion programme this year.
Mr Dickson Addae, Manager of the Agona Swedru branch of ADB, told the GNA in an interview on Thursday that the bank had put in place a programme to support farmers, traders, market women and other small and medium scale operators in the area to expand their businesses.
He said plans had been completed to install Automated machine (ATM) at the Agona Swedru branch of the bank.
Mr Addae said the bank gave out 52,000 new Ghana coins to customers and non-customers but some of them refused to accept them even though they claimed they were in short supply.
