It's no secret that adidas love handing Lionel Messi a new f50 adizero colorway every now and then. After all, why shouldn't they? The sportswear giant has already designed a fantastic product around their star man and they are doing a good job of keeping the look fresh by providing exciting, new colorways every so often.
Today, adidas have announced a new look for the exceptional technology in their f50 series in which Messi will "light up the pitch."
The new design features diagonals, sharp cuts, smooth gradients, and an overall style that stands apart from the rest of adidas' boot offerings.
Messi's new f50 will come in a colorway comprised of what adidas are culling Turbo/Blast Purple/White and are symmetrical across both feet.
These are the successor to the red & white beauties that Lionel Messi wore (and we were lucky enough to test out) in the latter stages of the 2012/13 season for Barcelona and into the summer for Argentina.
The Turbo/Blast Purple/White colorway will make its official debut on June 29th in Colombia as part of the "Messi and Friends Tour" series of charity matches. There will also be similar matches along the tour played in Chicago, Los Angeles, and in Peru.
Featured guests include Didier Drogba, Radamel Falcao, Dani Alves, and 30 or so more players that have yet to be officially announced.
