Adisadel Senior High School on Friday bagged 128.5 points to lift the championship trophy of the Central Region Zone One Inter-Schools and Colleges Athletics competition held at the Regional School and Colleges Park, at Adisadel.
Cape Coast Technical Institute took the second position with 121 points followed by Edinaman Senior High School at third position with 78.5 points, Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School came fourth with 71 points with Ghana National placing fifth with 64.5 points.
Christ the King Academy (SHS) took the sixth position with 52 points, Komenda (SHS) came seventh with 33 points, Aburaman (SHS) came eighth with 18 points, Eguafo Abrem (SHS) was ninth with 17.5 points while Commercial Service Institute came last with seven points.
Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School bagged 126.5 points to lift the championship trophy in the Girls division.
Christ the King Academy (SHS) took the second position with 114.5 points, Edinaman (SHS) was third with 109.5 points, Mfantsiman Senior High School was fourth with 74.5 points while Ghana National (SHS) came fifth with 55 points.
Aburaman (SHS) placed sixth with 30.5 points, Cape Coast Technical Institute seventh with 16.5 points, Komenda (SHS) eighth with 13 points, Eguafo Abrem (SHS) ninth with 12 points while Commercial Service Institute came last with four points.
Isaac Ackon of Edinaman (SHS) was declared the best athletes in the Boys division while Mercy Dadzie also of Edinaman SHS was adjudged the best athlete in the Girls’ division.
Isaac Ackon won the 800 and 3,000 metre events and again came first in 1,500 metres while Mercy Dadzie also came first in the 800 metres, 1,500 metres and 3,000 metre races.
