Christian Atsu and Andre Ayew have expressed delight at helping the Black Stars seal yet another AFCON qualification with their goals.
Stand-in Ghana captain Ayew started the win on 71 minutes, with the on-loan Malaga star finishing off Baba Rahman's assist from inside the box to seal the win three minutes later.
Atsu posted on his Instagram page: "Great game from the team. We are through to the 2017 AFCON. Happy to be on the score sheet. Glory be to God and thanks for your support."
Ayew, 26, is heading into his fifth African Cup and skippered the Stars with Asamoah Gyan injured.
"It was a great victory for us and a big motivation to the AFCON tournament. We worked hard and won," he told reporters after the game.
The Group H encounter was played at the Stade Anjalay in the Mauritian city of Belle Vue Maurel.
Ghana finished at the top of Group H with 13 points, while Mauritius remain third on the group standings with one game left.
