The Black Stars resume their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign on Thursday, March 23, when they host Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Ghana and Angola clash in the first of two games in the latest international break which will also serve as matchday three and four of the AFCON qualifying series.
Both teams have four points after two games played in Group E, having won one and drawn the other.
The game will be Chris Hughton's first in charge of the Black Stars following his appointment as the new head coach following Otto Addo's resignation after the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The two teams are meeting for the first since the 2010 AFCON in Angola, where Asamoah Gyan scored the only goal of the game as Ghana beat the host nation in the quarterfinals.
The Ghanaians are looking to bounce back from their woeful performance at the World Cup in Qatar, where they exited at the group stage after defeat in their last game to Uruguay.
With the arrival of Salis Abdul Samed to camp on Wednesday, Hughton has everyone available for the game with the gaffer mentioning that Mohammed Salisu is the only fitness concern ahead of the game.
Having arrived in Kumasi late last night, Angola had no training session and this will be the case till they take to the field ahead of kick-off.
A win for either team will see them move to the top of the group with three games still to come.
There will be live commentary of the game on Joy 99.7 FM with buildup at 3PM.
