The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Afotey Agbo has given the Ghana Police Service a three-week ultimatum to find the killers of Nii Kwame Bibinii II, a disputed chief of Ogblogo near Weija.
Nii Afotey Agbo gave the directive after a visit to the Oblogo palace where the deceased was alleged to have been killed by a mob.
Nii Kwame Bibinii II, 47, had just returned from 'exile' after a similar conflict kept him out of the village for months.
Reports say he was attacked by some youth in the village.
Six suspects have so far been arrested but the residents are shocked and tight lipped on the incident.
Joy News' Francis Abban who followed the Minister reported of heavy security presence in the community.
According to him, the palace is stained with blood, 12 clear hours after the incident.
The Regional Minister Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo and his entourage, which included the Police Director of Operations, COP John Kudalor inspected the scene of the incident.
The devastated minister gave the police three weeks to find the perpetrators of the crime adding the youth cannot act as though the country is in the animal kingdom.
Afotey Agbo also visited three other victims who suffered cutlass wounds at the Accident Centre of Korle Bu teaching hospital.
The deceased has gun shot wound on the chest and machete wounds in his head.
His body has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
