Black Meteors skipper Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored two goals in FC Zurich's league win over FC Lugano on Saturday night.
The Ghanaian was handed his third start of the 2023/24 season and didn't disappoint as he netted a brace in the 3-0 win.
Barnieh opened the scoring in the second period of the game after a goalless first-half draw at home, grabbing his first in the 68th minute.
The Ghanaian added a second eight minutes later and doubled his side's lead.
Zurich went on to win the game 3-0 win as Barnieh came off in the 85th minute.
The former Hearts of Oak man was impressive for the club during their pre-season campaign and has been rewarded for his efforts.
