Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored in his third consecutive league appearance for FC Aarau over the weekend.
Barnieh scored the opening goal of the game as his side picked up a 2-0 home win over Xamax in the Swiss Challenge League.
The 24-year-old, who was given yet another starting berth, lasted the majority of the game as he spurred his side to victory in the third round of games.
The former Hearts of Oak forward opened the scoring after 14 minutes into the game to give his side an early lead which they took into the break.
Henri Koide, who replaced the Ghanaian in the 76th minute, doubled the lead in added time to wrap up the win and secure all three points for the home side.
The versatile forward has been a good addition for FC Aarau since the start of the new season, scoring three goals from three appearances so far.
He joined the club this summer following his departure from FC Zurich, signing a two-year deal with the club.
