Former IBF Bantam Weight champion Joseph Agbeko has sent a goodwill message to his compatriot Joshua Clottey ahead of his crucial WBO Welter weight bout on Saturday night.
Clottey has a tough nut to crack in Manny Parcquio and he is hugely considered the underdog.
But Joseph Agbeko believes his friend and colleague has the brightest opportunity to take the World by storm.
A statement signed by Ebenezer Noye spokesperson for Agbeko asked the Welter weight contender to believe in himself and know that he has the support of all Ghanaians.
The statement further urged Clottey to discount the initial setback he and his trainer suffered ahead of the bout and go for glory.
“Go all out and make yourself, mother Ghana and indeed the whole of Africa proud,” the statement said.
