Since it became public knowledge that an Accra Circuit Court has rejected an appeal by socialite Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo, which means she must continue her jail sentence, social media users have not been at ease.
Many consider it as sad news, given that the outspoken actress will be spending this year’s Christmas in jail.
The tweethearts, therefore took to their various timelines to lament about what they consider a harsh judgment.

Information reaching me says that Akuapem Poloo will be spending the Xmas in Nsawam
Akuapem Poloo was handed a 90-day jail term by an Accra Circuit Court for publishing obscene material and violating the dignity and integrity of her seven-year-old son in a nude photo she posted on social media in June, 2020.
Though she served a period into her term, her lawyers appealed the judgement considering it too harsh.
She was subsequently granted a GH¢80,000 bail, pending the determination of the appeal.
Akuapem Poloo back to the prisons, but the woman who impersonated Adwoa Safo is still walking a free woman.. Democracy is not good for Africans 😒

On Wednesday, the Court presided by Justice Ruby Aryeetey found her appeal without merit, therefore, ordered her to go and continue her 90-day imprisonment.
The court also ordered that her son should be given to any competent person in the family to take care of him, while his mother serves her sentence at the Nsawam Prison.
What I'm hearing about Akuapem poloo? Going to prison shouldn't be an option 😓

Some people believe Akuapem Poloo deserves the prison sentence cos after the bail she still went ahead to twerk instead of putting up a good behavior.

They are going to use Akuapem poloo to create diversion just as they always use slay Queens fighting on social media to create diversion from pertinent national issues.. #WickedNPP #NPP #2022Budget

I thought Akuapem Poloo's case was over, so why is she suddenly going to continue her jail term this December?

The most wisest thing one can do is to learn something from Akuapem Poloo's issue. Beware of your steps and utterances especially on social media. When you find yourself in such a situation, no one will fight for you. Be wise.
