It's not clear what is bigger news.
That Amed Toure signed for Bechem United to bolster their squad. Or that the two-year deal was completed without a medical.
Having won the FA Cup on Sunday, the Hunters are wasting not time in beefing up their team with a debut CAF Confederations Cup campaign on the horizon.
Club CEO Nana Kwasi Darlington said: “Amed has been on our radar for a very long time now. ”
The Burkinabe international was described by the club as a "prolific striker, goal poacher and in any given good day when you are not having the magic, he can pull some magic out" and "a total footballer”.
The ex-Kotoko attacker, who was in Cape Coast to see his new team annex the trophy against Okwawu United, completed the deal on Tuesday at the side's Accra offices.

So why was there no medical?
Club CEO Nana Kwasi Darlington said, "Well, we did not have the medical for him, that's true. He just signed. But maybe he will do it".
This is suprising considering that Amed Toure has been involved in controversial matters of medical nature in the past.
In 2012, an official of Egyptian club El Gouna sensationally made claims that Amed is HIV positive. At the time, Toure was angling for a move to the outfit.
Then an Ivorian citizen, Toure then released a copy of the test taken which disproved the claims.
Bechem United will hope the 2011 Ghana Premier League MVP will replicate the form that saw him become a hit for Kotoko. The last year has been difficult for him, however, as he has been unable to be consistent at Lebanese side Nejmeh.
