Celebrated Ghanaian DJ and radio presenter Andy Dosty will mark his birthday this Friday, 19th September 2025, with a special edition of Simply Irresistible at Soho, Marina Mall, Airport City, Accra.
The event, hosted weekly by award-winning DJ Mensah, is regarded as Ghana’s leading corporate nightlife experience. This edition is expected to be extra special as it doubles as Andy Dosty’s birthday celebration.
Andy Dosty, born Andrew Amoh, has been a key figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry for years. He took over hosting duties of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM in 2017 and went on to win Radio Personality of the Year at the 2019 National Communications Awards.
Beyond radio, he has hosted major events such as the launch of The Taste of Afrika. He joined the Ghana DJ Awards board in 2018 and was appointed an ambassador for the International Youth Empowerment Foundation’s Youth Summit in 2019.
That same year, he released Love You Die featuring Kuami Eugene and sparked debate after claiming credit for the rise of dancehall star Shatta Wale. In 2021, he was in the news again for dismissing rapper Okese 1 from his studio over punctuality and conduct.
Most recently, Andy Dosty co-hosted the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2024 with TV personality Roselyn Felli, celebrating excellence in disc jockeying and entertainment.
Friday’s celebration at Soho is expected to draw industry players, fans and party lovers for a night of music and unforgettable memories.
Table reservations are available via 0550188888 or 0271000085.
