His Majesty Asantehene Otumfuo Osci Tutu II, has sent best wishes to the Black Satellites as they take on the Brazilian side in the Finals of the 2009 FIFA Under 20 World Cup today in Cairo, Friday.
A statement from the office of the Asantehene stated: "On this occasion that you and your handlers have brought Ghana to the brink of ultimate success in the FIFA Under Football Tournament, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, urges you to do your best to crown your glorious efforts so far with a win in this final of finals. Asanteman and Ghana, and indeed, the whole Africa is behind you as you take on your Brazilian counterparts.”
The statement expressed the hope that the Black Satellites will distinguish themselves in this final match and bring home the coveted Cup to Ghana.
His Majesty urged all Ghanaians to pray for the Black Satellites.
