Action returns to the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi in May 24 for this year’s Asantehene Gold Cup competition.
The 44-Hole event, put together by mobile telecommunication giant, MTN is expected to draw golfers from far and near to battle for supremacy.
His royal Highness Otumfou Osei Tutu II and the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Mr Michael Ikpoki will not only grace the occasion with their heavy presence but will play along side the golfers.
According to the organizers, all is set by way of preparation for the expected high profile 56th edition dubbed “Come tee off to a royal connection” and designed in honour of the Ashanti King.
There will also be a walk through the principal streets of Kumasi, on May 25, organisers have said.
At stake are beautifully designed trophies and MTN customized souvenirs for golfers who will excel in their respective categories.
