Over 100 keep fit clubs from the Greater Accra and Ashanti Region graced the maiden Asempa fitness and fun festival at the Elwak Sports Stadium.
The event was to allow such groups to interact and keep fit whilst having fun.
They competed in various sporting activities and events, including, football, tag of peace, sack racing among others.
General Manager of Asempa FM Claus Von-Backustein in presenting prizes to the overall winner of the Festival- Divine Healing Church, Ashaiman branc, said the festival has thus become annual event and thanked sponsors for their support.
Personalities who graced the occasion included former Tourism Minister in the first NDC administration Mike Gizo, representatives from the Youth and Sports Ministry among several others
