Banks in Ghana will be warming up for their industry awards; The Ghana Banking Awards on May 26.
The banks will be competing for honors in 17 categories, including the enviable Bank of the Year Award, which was won by Guarantee Trust Bank last year.
Individuals and corporate organizations will also be looking out for winners in the various categories as it also informs them as to which banks to go to for particularly services.
Chief Host of the Banking Awards, Willing Vanderpuije tells Joy Business the integrity of the awards is beyond doubt.
According to the organizers the winners will be chosen from the responses of over 3000 retail and corporate bank clients. The event put together by Corporate Initiative Ghana has become the reference point for assessing the performance of the banks.
