On July 10 twitter was buzzing with goodwill and heartfelt messages from fans, celebrities and TV networks for rapper Sarkodie as he celebrated his birthday.
However, one network in its bid to celebrate the rapper mistakenly posted a photo of the rapper’s former signee, Strongman.
The post read, “Sending Birthday love to @sarkodie, enjoy your day bro.”
It is no secret that Strongman and Sarkodie have a strong relationship even though the former is no longer signed to the Sarkcess Music label, hence some fans were happy the association between the two is giving Strongman a recognition.
Others were not so happy with the network which has awarded and nominated the rapper many times could not recognise him.
BET has since, put the post down and uploaded another, with Sarkodie’s new picture he released to celebrate his birthday.
Sarkodie in reaction to the post retweeted the post with the caption, "Lol this is the legendary @StrongmanBurner!!!"
