Ghana’s Black Queens are in action against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroun in a return leg encounter of the African Women’s Championships qualifiers in Yaoundé this Sunday.
Ghana must win the game to hand the Queens qualification to the tournament in Equatorial Guinea in November this year.
Coach Kuuku Dadzie’s team arrived in Cameroun on Thursday night after a week of acclimatization in Ethiopia and come into Sunday’s game on the back of a difficultly 1-1 drawn game in Accra a couple of weeks ago.
"We are focused on the game and hopefully we will win to qualify".Said Coach Dadzie
If they fail to win, Ghana will miss out on Africa’s biggest women’s game for the first time since its inception in 1998.
