Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Randy Abbey has been left unimpressed with the performance of the Black Stars under Chris Hughton.
Hughton took charge of the senior national team after the 2022 World Cup, where Ghana finished bottom of Group H.
Ghana lost twice and won only one game in Qatar.
Under Hughton, the Black Stars have still not lost a game, recording two draws, and a 1-0 win over Angola.
"We are not too happy, we think there has to be a lot of improvement which needs to be made. We also don't have all the time in the world, so we need to be fast about it," he told Takoradi-based Spice FM.
Hughton was announced as Black Stars boss in February 2023 but was unveiled in March.
Didi Dramani and George Boateng were announced as his assistants.
The trio were alongside Otto Addo at the World Cup, and right before the Mundial.
The quartet qualified Ghana to the World Cup after beating Nigeria on aggregate in March 2022.
"We think there's a lot of work to be done, because we had a lot of expectation for Hughton and his team of Dramani and Boateng. Based on the fact they've been around the team for a long while, they could hit the ground running."
Ghana will take on Central African Republic on September 3.
