Referee Abdul Latif Adari of Wa was the toast of fans at the Bole Park when Amanjande welcomed Techiman City FC in the week 24 of the Zone 1 of the ongoing GN Bank Division One League while the fans at the stadium won the admiration of the visiting team for good sportsmanship.
President and bankroller of Techiman City FC, Charles Kwadwo Ntim, after the game, lauded the the center man as well as the home fans for their show of maturity and level of tolerance even though they lost the game 2-0.
In an interview with Sports Crusader, Charles Ntim said: "The level of sportsmanship shown by the Bole fans was amazing. It was speculated before the game that we will be intimidated by the home fans but nothing of that sort happened. It was the same team that played against Berekum Arsenal when Arsenal accused them of intimidation, but we did not see anything like that".
"When the second goal was scored by Techiman City,they just jumped on their motorbikes and left the stadium".
