The Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Brigadier General Ayorogo, accompanied by a delegation, initiated an important tour at the Ho Collection on Monday, May 20, focusing on engaging with officers and outlining future strategies for the Customs Division.

During his visit, Brigadier General Ayorogo interacted closely with both senior and junior officers at the Ho Collection.

The discussions centered on enhancing border security and optimising revenue collection mechanisms.

His approach was warmly received by the officers, who expressed their readiness to adopt new methodologies.

In his address, Brigadier General Ayorogo emphasised the critical role of the Customs Division in safeguarding the nation’s borders and ensuring the efficient collection of revenue.

He assured the officers that the division was committed to implementing advanced strategies aimed at minimizing revenue leakages and achieving the set revenue targets for the year.

“We recognize the challenges faced by the Customs Division, and we are dedicated to providing the necessary support and resources to overcome these obstacles. Our goal is to protect our borders effectively while maximising revenue collection through innovative and efficient methodologies,” Brigadier General Ayorogo stated.
