The Interior Minister, Mr. Kwamena Bartels has ordered the suspension of police and military officers accused of brutalizing a driver at Suhum to death.
The directive is to allow unimpeded investigation into the death of the 32 year old driver Kodjo Atuah.
JOYNEWS sources say the officers involved include Staff Sergeant Adama, Constable Godfred Yamoah, Sgt Frank Karikari, Osei, Lance Corporal Ankamah Edem and Sgt Samuel Agyir.
Mr Bartels said an independent Fact-Finding Committee set up to investigate the matter will start work from Tuesday, August 14.
