His Eminence Peter Cardinal Appiah Turkson has called for humanised globalisation for true unity.
He said government and international agencies must guarantee the attainment of equality for all to participate in the process of development.
In his homily to mark the first anniversary of the Cardinal Turkson Fund for Health and Education, he stressed the need for solidarity among people and their neighbors.
“When globalization is humanized, [it] then in its great features of mobility and inter-dependentness appreciates its call as a tool for fashioning solidarity and fraternity aimed at developing the human person,” he said.
The theme for the anniversary is “Challenges of Globalization: a case of health and education”.
