The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released a timetable for the emergency load shedding.
The timetable has been drafted to guide load shedding for two weeks, William Boateng, the Company’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), said on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
The timetable is titled 'National Load shedding Guide'.
As per the schedule, households will go off for 12 hours and have power stability for 48 hours.
The timetable has been regionalised with groupings so that areas in one group will go off at the same time. Only the northern regions including Brong Ahafo Region have not been included in the guide.
According to ECG's PRO, the timetable is temporary, and is expected to be updated with information from engineers working on Ghana’s power plants.

Below is the list of areas to be affected in the Accra Region. Please identify your group according to the best description of your location.
