Chef Failatu Abdul Razak, who is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for cook-a-thon, has passed 110 hours of cooking as she prepared a Ghana Jollof dish with Pomo as the key ingredient.
The 110-hour mark also means that Chef Faila is more than halfway through her attempt to make sure she holds the world record for the longest cooking marathon.
Pomo Tomato Mix has been supportive of Chef Faila’s attempt at breaking the world record from the day she started her attempt on January 1.
Chef Faila’s supporters including Ghana’s Most Beautiful winner Teiya, among others could not get enough of her Jollof dish.
“Chef Faila is on an amazing quest and as a food brand that wants everyone to enjoy good tasty meals, it is great that Chef Faila has chosen Pomo as her tomato mix of choice in preparing all her dishes,” the Marketing Director of GBfoods Ghana, Samuel Dery said in a statement.
“We are particularly happy that while taking on this global challenge, Chef Faila has chosen to do so by using our product to create these amazing dishes that represent a celebration of flavours and cultures,” he added.
He said the Pomo brand and GBfoods Ghana as a whole were in support of Chef Faila and each hour she continued to cook.
With 110 hours plus of cooking under her belt, Chef Faila remains fit and resolute to go beyond the current world record of 119 hours.
Each day, more of her fans trooped to the Modern City Hotel to support her. To keep them entertained, and boost their morale, the Pomo Tomato mix brand has curated shared experiences for the supporters.
As part of the taste the love agenda, a team from the Pomo brand has been engaging the supporters and giving away product samples as well as serving them hot meals to energize them as they support Chef Faila.
