He made the submission while speaking at a job fair in Kumawu, which seek to boost green employment and enterprise opportunities in Ghana.
The Ghana GrEEn project aims at creating greater economic and employment opportunities for the youth, women and returning migrants.
Skills Development Advisor of SNV Ghana GrEEn project, Gifty Afi Cudjoe, stated that the group is dedicated to supporting government's efforts at growing businesses and entrepreneurship.

She noted that such a project is paramount as the effects of climate crisis continue unabated.
"We submit that green jobs and businesses in the circular economy are the solutions to a resilient and sustainable local economy,” she said.
Miss Cudjoe said entrepreneurship in the green economy will be promoted through interactions with seasoned green entrepreneurs to inspire participants to start their own green businesses.
Nana Okyere Baffour admonished the youth to make good use of the opportunities available to them to develop themselves into useful entrepreneurs adding that such an opportunity can change their lives for the better.
