The Deputy Communications Director of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Ernesto Doe-Yeboah has denied speculations that CPP Chairperson Samia Nkrumah will partner Vice President John Mahama in the 2016 elections.
Mr. Yeboah said Samia Nkrumah is a loyal member of the CPP and will not support any other candidate or political party.
He was reacting to accusations by the ex-Women’s Organizer of the party, Mary Ankomah Boakye Boateng that Samia is pursuing the agenda of other political parties to enable them win the December polls and that she is selling out CPP “in return for petty cash and handouts”.
Mr. Yeboah said Samia Nkrumah is a much disciplined person with high moral standards.
Speaking with Adom News, Mr. Ernesto Yeboah stated that Samia Nkrumah is the only competent person left in the party who can rebuild CPP into a vibrant political party.
Commenting on the leadership style of Ms Samia Nkrumah, Ernesto Yeboah maintained that the party does not see anything wrong with the leadership style of Samia Nkrumah.
He insisted that Samia Nkrumah is the right candidate for the job as she instills discipline in the party.
