Ghana midfielder Derek Boateng says he is committed to his pre-contract agreement with Greek top flight side Olympiakos and is not in talks with English Premiership side Fulham.
Boateng, who is currently battling with his Ukrainian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at football governing body FIFA, has already agreed a deal to join the Greece champions in summer.
However, media reports in England this week claim that the Getafe midfielder has opened negotiations with The Cottagers at the end of the season.
The media speculation in the English press has not gone down well with Olympiakos, who have now asked Boateng to verify whether he will joined them in summer or otherwise.
But the 29-year-old has told management of the Greek giants that he is not in talks with Fulham or any other club and is solidly committed to his early pre-contract agreement with them.
“I give you my word; I have not signed up to any group neither Fulham nor elsewhere. The agreement I have with Olympiakos is valid,” Boateng told Olympiakos management.
Boateng is expected to arrive in Greece today (Friday) to start training with the club.
