The Electoral Commission says it has deployed 58,000 biometric verification devices for Tuesday’s District Level Elections.
Addressing the media Monday, Deputy Chairperson of the EC, Samuel Tettey said the number included back up, in case some the devices break down.
He said the voting registers for all polling stations have also been printed and dispatched for the exercise.
Mr. Tettey also said 159,000 electoral officers have been trained for the elections.
