Dominion Christian Academy (DCA) put up a sterling performance at the just-ended annual Lancaster University Ghana Business Cup Challenge.
Team Dominion's first major win in the esteemed competition, saw the institution secure the 3rd place slot.
Held under the theme “Sustainability,” the Business Cup Challenge, which had over 35 senior high schools participating aims at enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of the students.
In a press statement signed by the Head of the School, Bishop Dr Suzanne Nti, management of DCA said: "This milestone of achieving 3rd place is a testament to the calibre of staff and students at DCA, and reflects their dedication, hard work, and talent."

The statement added, “Congratulations are extended to both the Staff and Student Teams from our Founder, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, for their exceptional performance and commitment to excellence."
"Their determination and teamwork have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of this achievement.”

The school also noted that management is grateful to parents for their unwavering support throughout the journey which contributed to the success chalked.
“We are immensely grateful to Lancaster University, Ghana, for providing our staff and students with the invaluable opportunity to participate in the Business Cup Challenge.

“This experience has empowered them to delve into sustainable development goals and sustainability matters, transforming them into solution-oriented, critical thinkers, innovators, and problem solvers for the betterment of our nation,” the statement concluded.
Meanwhile, Team Dominion was made up of students from Grade 7 to Grade 12.

For animations and slides, the team was represented by Craig Kujar (G11) and Yooku Anamuah-Mensah (G11).
Presenting team members included Kelvin Odoom (G11), Francis Odoom (G10), Zoe Okai (G9), Natasha Van Der Horst (G8) and Queen Esther Prempeh (G7).

Honourable mention also goes to Kwesi Sam (G12), Emmanuella Bedzrah (G12), Brendan Atuahene (G9), Ryan Dzotepe (G9), Julie Etoyan (G8), Leon Okai (G8), Jude Anamuah-Mensah (G8), Martin Ofori (G7) and Ewuradjoa Asiedu (G7).
Again, Kelvin Odoom won the Most Eloquent Male Award while the school took home a cheque for GH₵5,000.
