President Mills has charged the country’s youth to do everything to ensure the peace and stability prevailing in the country is not compromised, especially as Ghanaians go into elections in December.
He wants them to shun persons who may want to exploit their youthful exuberance to cause trouble in the country.
The president was speaking to Muslims at Accra’s Central Mosque.
He said the future is for the youth and urged the politicians to be wary of what they do with them.
“…Do not allow any people to misleading you; don’t allow any people to abuse your youthful exuberance. We know there are challenges but in what society are there no challenges,” he quizzed.
President Mills also called for early preparations towards this year’s Hajj to avoid recurrent problems associated with the organisation of the annual pilgrimage.
