A commercial driver has been remanded for careless driving and negligently causing harm.
Kwadwo Twum pleaded guilty to the charges and would re-appear on April 30.
Police Detective Sergeant De-Graft Armah Adjei told the court presided over by Mrs. Aliata Saeed that the accused on April 5 this year, was driving a vehicle from Ejura to Kumasi.
The prosecutor said on reaching Aboaso in the Kwabre district, the vehicle turn sharply into the opposite lane colliding with an on-coming Urvan bus.
Sergeant Adjei said in the process one Kwame Owusu, a passenger on board the Urvan bus sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The prosecutor said Twum ran away after the accident but was arrested later.
