Scottish Premier League side Dundee United have signed Ghanaian teenager Mathew Anim Cudjoe on a three-year deal, subject to work permit.
The midfielder won the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana earlier this year and enjoyed an impressive second half of the season with Legon Cities.
In a club statetement, Dundee said there was "interest from a host of European clubs" for Cudjoe, who previously trained with Bayern Munich.
Sporting director of Dundee Tony Asghar told the club website Cudjoe was an exciting talent who can even develop more.
"We are delighted to welcome Mathew to Dundee United, he is a young and exciting talent that we can’t wait to watch develop further over the coming seasons.
"As a club we are continuously aiming to attract talented players – both in our local area, in markets we are well established in and in those that have been less explored," he added.
Mathew will join the club upon approval of his visa application.
